School Categorisation

I am sure you’ve already been told..... we have had to keep it secret until now and at last it’s published! We
are one of the few school in Wales who have made the biggest improvement in one year. We have had a
mention on “Wales on Line”. We have moved from red to yellow. This is down to the commitment and hard
work of the whole school community but the biggest thanks goes to the children. It is their progress that
identifies the success of the school. Staff at the school have inspired the children to enjoy their learning,
parents have supported their learning, governors have regulated progress, the LEA have supported school
management, the community has provided opportunities for the children. The main focus is the progress
children make so this achievement belongs to them! They’ve worked their socks off! (Literally at times!)
Our next target is green and we can definitely do it! Come on team, we can do it!
